JAMMU, Dec 7: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir chief Manish Sahni has termed the toll collection going on incomplete and under-construction roads of Jammu as open loot by the National Highway Authority.
In a press conference held at the Party’s State central office, Manish Sahni strongly criticized the toll plaza on the incomplete ring road and demanded to roll it back with immediate effect.
Sahni said, “J&K is the only Union Territory where there is a plethora of toll plazas. Toll collection is being done on five toll plazas in Jammu and work is going on the 6th in Akhnoor. Two toll plazas are in Kashmir. Sahni said that no opportunity is being missed to loot the people of J&K.
The Shiv Sena (UBT) chief demanded the BJP MPs from J&K to raise their voice against this loot and put a stop to it.
On the occasion, working president Jai Bharat, senior vice president Balwant Singh, secretary Geeta Lakhotra, Dimple and Nitin were also present.
