JAMMU, May 5: Govt Sri Pratap Memorial Rajput (SPMR) College of Commerce, Jammu, organized an open campus placement drive today, providing valuable employment opportunities to graduating students.
The drive, conducted in collaboration with HDFC Bank and Axis Bank, attracted enthusiastic participation from aspiring candidates seeking career in the banking sector.
The event was graced by prominent resource persons Rahul Sharma, Shakun Mahajan, and Ravi, who addressed the gathering and shared insightful perspectives on the growing opportunities in the banking industry. They highlighted the recruitment process and career progression pathways, with a special focus on opportunities at Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank. Their interactive sessions motivated students to explore dynamic roles within the financial services sector.
The placement drive featured a structured selection process, including an on-the-spot screening interview, online aptitude tests, AI-based interviews, and a panel interview round, aimed at selecting candidates for residential training programs leading to confirmed placements.
In his message to students, Principal of the College Prof Rajinder Singh urged them to make the most of such opportunities, stay committed to lifelong learning, and uphold the values of integrity, dedication, and excellence in whichever path they choose. He noted that it was essential for students to chart out a direction for their careers during graduation, so that they can become productive members of society.
The event was coordinated by Dr Chetna Gupta, whose meticulous planning ensured smooth execution of the recruitment process. A formal vote of thanks was delivered by Prof Shaji Khan.
