KATHUA, Oct 23: One shop and two Kullas of Gujjars gutted in fire at two different palaces in Kathua district today.
According to reports, a shop belonging to Parmanand gutted at Hatli More near here and all the goods lying in it perished in the fire. The shopkeeper who was a non State Subject claimed that he has suffered a loss of Rs 70,000.
Police said that the cause of fire was due to short circuit. A case was registered in Police Post Hatli More in this regard under relevant section of the law.
In another fire incident two Kullas of Gujjars Nor-ud-Din and Shah-ud-Din were razed to ground in the fire that engulfed them today in Ravi basin near Lakhanpur.
