JAMMU, Nov 19: One person was killed today while three others were injured, one of them critically, when two bikes collided head on at Kaink Morh near Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal.
The mishap occurred today at about 5 PM when a rashly driven bike on which three persons were travelling, hit another bike coming from opposite side. In the mishap, two persons received serious injuries while two others sustained mild injuries.
All the injured were immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where Vijay Kumar (27) son of Girdhari Lal, resident of Bhalwal, was declared as brought dead by the doctors while condition of Mukesh Kumar (31) son of Puran Chand, resident of Kot, was stated to be critical.
Other two injured persons identified as Avinash Kumar son of Faqir Chand and Darshan Kumar son of Bali Ram, both residents of Kot, were responding to treatment. Gharota police had registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
