JAMMU, Feb 23: One person died after the scooty he was riding on was hit by a tanker near Nagrota area on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway here today.

A scooty (JK02DC-3284) driven by one Gaurav Kumar son of Subash Chander of Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, was hit by an unidentified tanker near Selfie Point area near the Ban Toll Plaza around 6 pm today, a police official said.
In the collision of the vehicles, the biker died on spot.
While his body has been shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College Jammu for conducting the post-mortem examination, police have started further investigation into the matter.
