JAMMU, Nov 27: A youth was killed today in the collision of a bike and a car in Gandhi Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a motorcyclist identified as Amit Kumar (21) son of Jagdish Chander, resident of Bhour Camp, received critical injuries this evening when the bike on which he was travelling, was hit by a rashly driven Swift car at main stop Gandhi Nagar.
He said that the critical injured youth was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he expired after some time.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem while a case was registered at police station Gandhi Nagar and investigations started”, the spokesman added.
