SAMBA, Dec 2: One youth was killed and another injured in a road mishap after their motor bike bearing number JK 083-7438 was hit by an unknown vehicle at Jatwal on Jammu-Pathnkot National Highway four kilometers from here, today.
The deceased was identified as Pankaj Sharma, 27 son of Sohan Lal of Ward Number 2, Hiranagar and the injured youth was identified as Ankush Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar of Samba.
The injured was first taken to District Hospital Samba where from doctors referred him to GMC Jammu.
The dead body of Pankaj was kept in mortuary of DH Samba and it will be handed over to family members after postmortem tomorrow.
The vehicle fled from the spot after accident. The Samba Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law.
