JAMMU: A man was killed while another injured when their motorcycle was hit by a truck on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district today.
“A motorcycle was hit by a truck this afternoon near Batote resulting in death of one person on the spot,” police sources said here.
They said the deceased identified as Chunni Lal, 55, was resident of Nashri while the injured namely Jaswinder Singh, 45, was rushed to the district hospital.
The truck driver managed to give a slip to the police. A case has been registered and investigation started, police added.
