JAMMU, July 8: A man was killed while another got injured due to electrocution in Bishnah area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Krishan Lal son of Beli Ram, resident of Burmal (Bishnah) was killed on the spot while another person namely Karam Chand (55) son of Tunda Ram, was injured when they came in contact with a live electric wire while working in the field.
The dead body of the deceased was shifted to SDH Bishnah and handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after conducting post mortem while the injured man was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
