UDHAMPUR, June 25:
One person died and five others were injured when a passenger four- wheeler auto rolled down into deep gorge near Prayee in Panchari, here today. According to the reports, the accident took place when the auto, bearing registration number JK14L-2401, was on its way from Panchari towards Prayee. Locals and police rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where one of them was declared as brought dead. The deceased was identified as Dina Nath (55), son of Romal Chand, resident of Prayee. The injured persons, identified as Rakesh Kumar (21) son of Des Raj of Prayee, Sudesh Kumar (26) son of Suram Chand of Panchari, Babali Devi (35) wife of Kaka Ram of Panchari, Manjeet Kumar (3) son of Kaka Ram of Panchari and Anamika (12) daughter of Kaka Ram of Panchari, were undergoing treatment at the hospital.
