KATHUA, Apr 5: A tragic road accident took place on Bhagthali Road in Kathua, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to three others.
According to reports, Balvinder Singh, 60), son of Gurbaksh Singh, resident of Ward No. 8 Kathua, was brought dead to the hospital following the accident. His body has been shifted to the mortuary for further medico-legal formalities.
As per reports tragic accident in which one person was killed and three other injured took place when a car bearing Registration Number PB35AH2240 collided with Auto Rickshaw, Motor Cycle and a cycle to save the life of a Scooty rider on Bhagthali road. But the car collided with other vehicles resulting in fatal accident.
A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to hospital.
One person who was brought dead has been identified as Balvinder Singh and his body was shifted to mortuary.
The injured were identified as Dharob Singh, 74, son of Malhar Singh of Ward 11 Kathua, Darshan Singh, 62, son of unknown of Ward 8 Kathua and Gagan Singh, 45 son of Bhariyan Singh of Ward 8 Kathua. The police has started investigation into the matter.
