UDHAMPUR, Sept 11: One passenger was killed, and three others got injured after a Tempo Traveller veered off the road and overturned near Modi Ground on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Battal Ballian, Udhampur.

The vehicle was en route to Anantnag in Kashmir from Jammu when the driver lost control, causing to accident.
Reports said that the accident took place around 04:30 AM when the Tempo, bearing registration number JK02DD- 9376 turned turtle near Celebration Hall, Battal Ballian on NHW-44, resulting into injuries to the passengers on board, all from Bihar.
The injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where one of them, identified as Mohd Shakeel (40) son of Irshad, resident of Bihar succumbed to his injuries during the treatment.
Other injured were identified as Afzal (32), son of Mobin; Noor Alam (45) son of Harul Din and his brother Mohd Noor Alam (32) son of Harul Din, all residents of Bihar.
