SRINAGAR, July 27: One person died while as 17 others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a Tractor bearing chassis number 0134DD80233/3 driven by Fayaz Ahmad War son of Ali Mohammad resident of Fagipora, Tangmarg skidded off on the road at Badipora, Tangmarg, resulting in on spot death of the driver.
A Van JK06/1475 skidded off on the road and fell in a Nallah at Sagam, Kokernag-Anantnag resulting in injuries to five passengers. All the injured were hospitalized.
A Maruti Car JK05/2175 and a Nano Car MA1612256CKB 14358 collided near Sikh Hotel, Busoo Mode at Hygam-Sopore. The mishap resulted in injuries to three persons including both the drivers. All the injured were hospitalized.
A Tipper number JK03C/3361 and a Minibus bearing registration number JK03/0988 collided at Frestabal, Pampore, resulting in injuries to 10. The minibus was carrying minibus of Government Women ITI Seer Hamdan from Srinagar towards Anantnag.. All the injured were shifted to Sub -District Hospital, Pampore for treatment.
A Maruti Car JK05/9283 hit an unidentified Truck on rear side near Hajj House, Srinagar, resulting in serious injuries to the Maruti driver Zubair Ahmad Tanga, son of Mohammad Ashraf resident of Noorbagh, Baramulla. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. The police has taken cognizance in all the cases.
