JAMMU, Apr 30: Full Court which met under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of J&K High Court Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed ordered transfer of one Judicial Officer and promotion of four others.
According to the order issued by Sanjay Dhar, Registrar General of High Court, Pawan Dev Kotwal, District and Sessions Judge on his repatriation from Supreme Court has been posted as 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu.
Mohammad Akram Chowdhary and Rajesh Sekri, District and Sessions Judges (Selection Grade) have been placed in the Super Time Scale of J&K Higher Judicial Service with effect from February 1, 2017 and April 1, 2017 respectively against the vacancies caused due to the retirement of Mohammad Yousuf Akhoon on January 31, 2017 and Rakesh Sagar Jain on March 31, 2017.
Similarly, Shahzad Azeem and Yash Pal Bourney, District and Sessions Judges (Entry Level) have been placed in the Selection Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Judicial Service with effect from February 1, 2017 and April 1, 2017 respectively.
