One injured in stove blast, three in road accidents

JAMMU, Aug 12 :A lady was injured in a stove blast at Janipur area of city outskirts while three persons were injured in two separate road accidents, one at Roop Nagar and other at Akhnoor.
According to a police spokesperson, a woman identified as Kusum (24) wife of Parmeshwar, a resident of Bilaspur (at present Janipur Colony), was injured in a stove blast at her temporary residence at Janipur Colony, this evening.
Meanwhile, a man and his 14-years old son was injured when the bike they was riding on, was hit by a car at Roop Nagar area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Janipur. The injured have been identified as Surinder (49) son of Hira of Purani Mandi and his son Nitesh.
A 10-year old girl namely Arti daughter of Subhash Singh, a resident of Bomal (Akhnoor) was also injured when the bike on which she was travelling with her father, got slipped in Akhnoor area.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
