SAMBA, Jan 30: A scooty rider was injured after the Two Wheeler he was driving was hit by Scorpio near Power House here, today.
Police said the mishap occurred at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near Power House Samba, when a Scorpio vehicle bearing Registration No JK02BN- 0004 moving towards Kathua from Jammu reached near Power House hit the scooty bearing registration No JK21C- 6925, after the driver lost control over the vehicle as a result the scooty rider received critical injuries.
He was brought to District Hospital Samba with the assistance of people. After getting first aid, the doctor referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
The injured has been identified as Ajay Gupta, son of Ved Parkash resident of Arazi, Samba near Bhargava Degree College Samba.
In this regard Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law and started investigations.
