POONCH, Apr 29: One person was injured when an Alto car met with an accident on Saloonia road in Tehsil Mandi of District Poonch today.
Official sources said that an Alto vehicle bearing registration number JK12A- 0327 met with an accident in which driver got injured and was shifted to SDH Mandi by locals, BMO Mandi Dr. Rayaz Jan said that the injured was referred to Poonch after initial treatment here.
Officials have identified injured as Mohd Iqbal (30), son of Abdul Hamid, resident of Barachar, at present Aalapir, Poonch.
Medical Superintendent, District Hospital, Poonch, Dr. Nusrat Bhatti when contacted said that the injured was having spine injury. He was further shifted to GMC Rajouri for advance treatment. Meanwhile, the police has taken cognizance of the incident.
