One held with heroin-like substance at Miran Sahib

JAMMU, Dec 6: One individual was arrested with approximately 13-14 grams of heroin-like substance from Miran Sahib Area here today.
During patrolling duty near Kullian, a team of Police Station Miran Sahib noticed a suspicious individual, who tried to run away on seeing the police, police sources said.
He was chased and overpowered by the patrolling team, they said, adding that on search of the suspicious individual, later identified as Kuldeep Singh alias Golu of Ward number 5, Simbal Camp, approximately 13-14 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered.
He was accordingly booked in case FIR number 156/2025 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation taken up, police sources said.
