RAMBAN, Mar 11: Police here today arrested one person and recovered heroin-like narcotic substance from him.
Cops led by PSI Mahesh Sharma intercepted and checked a suspicious person during patrolling.
The individual was identified as Bharat Singh, son of Piyar Singh, resident of Chakka Kundi, Tehsil Rajgarh, District Ramban.
During search, 3.45 gram of heroin-like narcotic substance including poly pack (actual weight 3.21 grams) was recovered.
In this regard, an FIR with number 61/2026 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at the concerned Police Station and investigation started.
