RAMBAN, Dec 24: Police here today under the supervision of SSP Ramban, Kulbir Singh arrested a man and recovered heroin from him.
Cops from Police Station Chanderkote while on a Naka at Chanderkote intercepted a man travelling in a Taxi and during his checking cops found 20 gm heroin like substance.
He was identified as Habil Yaseen, son of Mohd Yaseen Dar, resident of Tarama, Kunzer, District Baramulla and he was arrested on the spot.
A case in FIR No.149 of 2024 under relevant Sections of NDPS Act was registered in this regard at Police Station Chanderkote and investigations started.
