JAMMU, Sept 12: One individual was arrested with 258 grams of heroin from Purmandal Morh area here today, officials said.
During naka checking at Purmandal Morh, Jammu, one Lovish Choudhary of Ramgarh, district Samba was intercepted for checking by a team of Police Station Gangyal, a police official said.
On search of the individual, he said, approximately 258 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, the accused was arrested and booked in case FIR number 99/2025 under sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Gangyal and further investigation taken up.
Pertinently, the arrest and seizure was made by a team of Police Station Gangyal led by SHO concerned, under the supervision of SDPO South, and overall supervision of SP South Ajay Sharma.
