DODA, Oct 9: A motorcycle accident near Nalthi Bridge this afternoon left one person dead and another injured.
At around 2:45 PM, a motorcycle bearing registration number PB-07BC1150 was traveling from Bhadarwah towards Nalthi when it skidded off the road, reportedly due to rash and negligent driving.
The riders, identified as Pokri Ram (36) son of Dogru Ram and Rajinder Kumar son of Santu Ram of Saloni, both residents of Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, sustained injuries in the mishap. Both were immediately shifted to SDH Bhadarwah for medical treatment.
Unfortunately, Pokri Ram succumbed to his injuries during treatment, while Rajinder Kumar continues to receive medical care.
Police have registered the case and are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident.
