SAMBA, Dec 20: One person died in a road accident in Bari Brahamana area of Samba district today.
Police said Mohammad Asif of Poonch was hit by a truck bearing Registration Number JK012B 0477 in the industrial area of Bari Brahamana near Shalimar Carpets and died on the spot.
The driver of the vehicle has been captured by locals and police. He was taken into custody and a case under relevant sections of the law was registered against him.
In this regard Bari Brahamana Police have taken cognizance of the matter and the dead body was shifted to GMC Jammu for postmortem.
