DODA, Jan 27: One persons was killed while three injured when a scooty and load carrier collided and fell into a gorge in Doda area today.
A police spokesman said that a head-on collision between a Mohindra load carrier bearing registration number JK06A -9732 and a scooty took place on Baboor -Doda road at Bhadron village.
The deceased has been identified as Waseem Ahmed, son of Late Abdul Rehman, resident Roti Padarna. The injured are identified Talib Hussain and Aqib Hussain, sons of Javed Iqbal resident of Nalwah.
The vehicle hit one scooty driven by Punjab Singh, son of Gandhi Singh, resident of Kashod, Jodhpur. Both the vehicles rolled down into the gorge. The injured were shifted to GMC Doda for medical treatment. Driver of the vehicle was declared as brought dead.
A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
