RAJOURI, May 19: In the interest of security of the State, Police here today detained one Mohd Qasim, son of Talib Hussain, resident of Gundha, Khawas under the provisions of Public Safety Act (PSA).
The detention order was issued by the competent authority and the individual was lodged in District Jail Jammu following formal execution of the order.
It is pertinent to mention here that the detained individual was involved in FIR No. 87/2023 U/S 212 IPC of Police Station Budhal and his activities were found to be prejudicial to the security of State and stability of the region.
