One country, twenty-eight states, and eight union territories,
We Indians are branches of the same tree.
We drink the same water, eat the same grain,
We’re children of one God, who knows our pain.
We’re the children of the same divine,
Whose wisdom we may not define.
1.4 billion people, each with a different face,
Yet never forget we share the same human race.
In sacred books no war is taught,
But peace and truth that sages sought.
So why do some still choose to fight,
Blind to love and deaf to light?
Those who’ve never read the holy Gita or Quran,
Still argue over ‘Hindu’ and ‘Musalman.’
They say, “You’re wrong, and only we are right”
But tell me, did Allah and Ram ever fight?
