UDHAMPUR, Feb 10: A old man committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence, here late evening.
According to the police, Sham Lal (65) son of Duni Lal of Bilan Balbi in Udhampur, consumed some poisonous substance at his residence today late evening. The family members noticed him in serious condition and vomiting and rushed him to District Hospital, Udhampur.
The doctors washed his stomach but he died after some time. Later, the body was sent for postmortem. Udhampur Police has registered the case and started investigation.
