JAMMU, Mar 8: A mass blood donation camp was organised today, under the aegis of 160 Bn CRPF Nagrota, Jammu as a part of 87th CRPF Day celebration. The camp was organised with the assistance of Blood Bank, Govt. Medical College, Jammu.
Officers and jawans from 160 Bn CRPF donated blood as a token to mark the celebrations. Their efforts for the well being of the nation were lauded by doctors and the public at large.
Speaking at the 87th CRPF Day Celebrations, Hariom Khare, Commandant 160 Bn CRPF, motivated the Jawans for maximum participation; voluntary donation of blood, and stressed the importance of blood donation. He assured the GMC Jammu of their continued support and thanked everyone for making the celebrations a grand success.
On the occasion, Sanjay Kumar Bamola, Second in Command, Sandhya Rani, Deputy Commandant, Dr. Manmohan Meena, Medical Officer and Rajesh Pandey, Assistant Commandant also witnessed the event.
