Jammu, Apr 18: An awareness programme under the 7th edition of Poshan Pakhwada 2025 was organized at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Nagrota by the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Dansal.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from Anganwadi Workers, students, and officials from the Health Department. During the event, the CDPO Dansal sensitized the beneficiaries about this year’s theme.
He stressed for use of technology for real-time monitoring of services at Anganwadi Centres and self-registration of beneficiaries through the Poshan Tracker App.
He called for Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) for early detection and effective community-level intervention.
A Medical Officer from the Health Department also addressed the gathering, highlighting the vital role of proper nutrition in maintaining overall health and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
As part of the programme, a rally of students and Anganwadi workers was organized to raise awareness among the general public about Poshan Pakhwada. The rally was flagged off by Rahul Sharma, ACEO Elections, Dr. Nirupa Rai, Special Secretary, Elections, Akhtar Qazi, Nodal Officer, SVEEP, Vinay Sharma, ACR (Nazool), Sumit Kohli, Tehsildar Nagrota, Ranbireshwar Singh Jamwal CDPO Dansal.
