JAMMU, Jan 15: In view of the prevailing situation in Iran, Anil Sharma, Additional Resident Commissioner, Jammu and Kashmir Government, New Delhi, has been designated for coordination and liaison with the concerned agencies in respect of the residents and students of Jammu and Kashmir presently residing/studying in Iran.
The Officer shall coordinate and liaise with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, the concerned Embassy/Consular authorities and other relevant agencies , as may be required, to facilitate information sharing, coordination and necessary intervention relating to the safety, welfare, travel facilitation and related matters of the residents/students of the Union Territory of J&K in Iran.
