MOSCOW, Dec 28: The number of canceled and delayed flights in the US amid snowfall has exceeded 10,000, according to data from the FlightAware tracker.
According to the service, as of 02:10 GMT, the total number of canceled flights within the US, as well as to and from the country, is 999, and the number of delayed flights is 9,010.
According to the Associated Press, more than 15 centimeters of snow fell in some areas of New York City, and up to 25 centimeters in some areas of New York State. CBS reported that weather warnings of varying levels have affected more than 20 million people.
