“The entrance paper is divided into four parts i, e. General Knowledge, English Grammar, Reasoning and Mathematics. The students from Arts and Science background find it difficult to solve reasoning and Mathematical paper. This indirectly leads to low merit and restraining students to get admission in their preferable course,” they explained adding that the adopted procedure was totally against the manifestations of ‘Right to Equality’.
The NSUI leader further alleged that when they tried to meet the Vice Chancellor for highlighting the grievance of students, the later refused to meet with aggrieved students.
“NSUI will start a campaign at college level and aware students about the discriminatory policies of Jammu University,” said Sunny Parihar
Vishal Kotwal, NSUI president of Jammu University, general secretary Nishant Gupta,   Vikas Badhoria and Rahul Bhagat were also present in the press conference.
