The NSUI leaders claimed that the anti-ragging mechanism at GMC Doda was ineffective.
Other issues raised by the delegation included power outage which was causing disruption in the hostel life and was affecting the overall security of the students.
The NSUI leaders also highlighted poor mess hygiene and nutrition, irregular bus services impacting students’ connectivity with campus and the town and absence of proper hostel fencing and security.
They demanded swift administrative action including activating the anti-ragging committee, resolving infrastructure issues and ensuring hostel security for the students.
