NSUI condemns R S Pathania’s objectionable remarks against IAF

JAMMU, May 30 : In response to the alleged derogatory remarks against the Indian Air Force, by BJP MLA RS Pathania, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Jammu & Kashmir unit staged a strong protest here today and burnt his effigy.
The demonstration, led by NSUI J&K state president Ajay Lakhotra, condemned the MLA’s statements as highly objectionable and disrespectful to the nation’s armed forces.
Speaking on the occasion, Lakhotra said, “The Indian Air Force is the pride of our nation, and such insulting comments are unacceptable. RS Pathania’s statements are not only offensive but also undermine the sacrifices of our brave soldiers. We demand his immediate disqualification as an MLA from the J&K Assembly and strict legal action, including booking him under sedition charges for disrespecting our armed forces.”
NSUI J&K reiterated its commitment to standing by the armed forces and ensuring that no individual, regardless of their position, is allowed to tarnish their honor.
The organization called for accountability and urged the authorities to take swift action against the MLA for his remarks, which have sparked widespread outrage.
The protest concluded with a strong message of unity and solidarity with the Indian Air Force, reaffirming NSUI’s dedication to safeguarding the nation’s pride.
Among others who participated in the protest included Bavanyu Bhagat, Rahul Sharma, Sehzad, Zafar and other dedicated members.
