NSUI celebrates its 52nd Foundation day

JAMMU, Apr 9: National Student Union of India (NSUI) today celebrated its 52nd Foundation day by hoisting its flag at the Congress Party office, Shahidi Chowk here today.
JKPCC working president, Raman Bhalla, party spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, general secretary  Yogesh Sawhney and Ved Mahajan (Ex-MLC) were present as special guests.
The programme began with the hoisting of the flag by the working president of JKPCC, Raman Bhalla along with Ravinder Sharma, former  minister Yogesh Sawhney in presence of NSUI office bearers.
Speaking on the occasion, Raman Bhalla threw light on history of NSUI, which is the largest democratic students union of the world and had been formed by Late Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi by amalgamating Kerala Student Union and West Bengal Chattra Parishad merged and NSUI was founded on 9 April 1971.
Chief spokesperson JKPCC Ravinder Sharma  and  former minister  Yogesh Sawhney  added that NSUI is one of the largest student organisation that relentless works day and night for the welfare and right of the student community throughout the nation.
While taking to the student, Sunny parihar State president NSUI Jammu and Kashmir said that the NSUI takes the pledge to work for the betterment of the student community in the future also and will organize a host of  activities in future which will benefit the students of the state in a larger Interest. He added that politics and students are not two different things but are things that go hand in hand.
Other NSUI leaders who organised and joined today celebration included Nipun Gandhi, Ajay Lakhotra,  Anuj Sharma, Dilawar Singh, Yasser Rashid, Munish, Harsh, Vishu, Saiyam, Zia Choudhary, Sanam, Akhil, Aneek and many others.
