JAMMU, Oct 27: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) today announced the new team for the Jammu University Unit for the academic session 2025-26.
The announcement was made in the presence of NSUI State President Ajay Lakhotra, who congratulated the newly appointed office-bearers and encouraged them to work for the welfare of students and to strengthen the organization on campus.
As per a statement, Aryan Raina has been appointed as President of the Jammu University Unit, while Arshi Sharma, Prabdeep Singh, and Dhananjay Bhargav have been named Senior Vice Presidents. The Vice Presidents include Tanishq, Misba Choudhary, Praveen Kumar, and Anirudh Langer.
The team of General Secretaries comprises Parth Raina, Aman Sharma, Diksha Sangra, Bhagirathi Raj, Maheen Thakur, Abhay Partap Singh, Sanket Bhagat, Shivam Singh Manhas (Law Department), Ishan Raj, and Umar Farooq. The Secretaries are Nishant Iqbal (Jatt), Nadeem Shah, Atul Choudhary, Shubh Choudhary, Nawazish, Vaibhav Dabar, Shankar, Khatab Gulzar, and Amit Manhas.
Joint Secretaries include Prithvi Chib, Pankaj Choudhary, Shivam, Vishal Sharma, Sakib Khan, Vansh Gupta, Garvit Dubey, and Md Sabik. The Media Cell Coordinators are Misba Bano and Kritagya Anand.
In a separate announcement, NSUI also introduced the Law School Unit team.
The statement said Anshika Gandhi and Parth Raina have been appointed as Incharges, while Diksha Sangra and Aman Sharma are Co-Incharges.
The Law School Unit includes Prisha Sachdeva as General Secretary, and Gurshayan Singh, Zaanib Lone, Bhavishya Chaman, Umat Fatima, Misba Bano, Pankaj Choudhary, Ishandeep, Nitesh Bhagat, Muteen Banihal, Risabh Sharma, Armaan Pandav, Mohammad Saabik, Geetansh Thakur, Shehzad, Waqar ur Rehman, Majibur Rehman, Krish Manhas, Toufeeq Ilahee, and Inzimam ul Haq as Secretaries.
The event was attended by Vikas Bhadoria, Bhavanyu Bhagat, Mehmood, Rahul, Sumit, and Rishi.
NSUI President Ajay Lakhotra praised the team and said the new leadership would work to raise student issues, promote inclusive education, and foster youth leadership across Jammu University.
