NSF pays tribute to freedom fighter Bal Krishna

JAMMU, Apr 29: National Secular Forum (NSF) today paid tribute to freedom fighter Bal Krishna Sharma on his 65th death anniversary.
In this connection, a simple function was organized at Jammu University Campus, wherein Ankush Abrol, Provincial Joint Secretary JKNC and Ex-Member BCCI, was the chief guest. Dr Vikas Sharma, Coordinator Jammu District and Zonal Secretary JKNC presided over the function while Dr Sukhdev Singh, State President NSF, was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Ankush Abrol appreciated the initiative taken by NSF to remember those who have contributed for the country.
Vikas Sharma threw light on the life of Bal Krishna, who was a freedom fighter, member of the Lok Sabha and was awarded Padma Bhushan in 1960 for his contributions to literature.
Dr Sukhdev Singh, Vikshay Vashist, Abhishek Uppal, Gourav Partap Singh and others also spoke on the occasion.
