NSF celebrates birth anniversary of Kartar Singh Sarabha

JAMMU, May 24: On the birth anniversary of Kartar Singh Sarabha, who laid his life for the country. National Secular Forum (NSF) organized a program in Jammu University and paid rich tribute to the freedom fighter.
Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha was 15-years old when he became a member of the Ghadar Party and started fighting for the independence movement. On November 1915 at Central Jail, Lahore, he was executed for his role in the movement. He was just 19 years old at that time.
Ankush Abrol, Provincial Joint Secretary JKNC and former Member BCCI was the chief guest in the NSF function while Dr Vikas Sharma, Coordinator Jammu District and Zonal Secretary, JKNC, presided over the function. Dr Sukhdev Singh State President NSF was the guest of honour.
Ankush Abrol said that the right tribute to Kartar Singh Sarabha would be to launch the struggle against social evils in the society.
Dr Vikas Sharma, Dr Sukhdev Singh and Vikshay Vashist, Gourav Partap Singh, Abhishek Uppal and others also spoke on the occasion.
