JAMMU, Aug 24: National Secular Forum (NSF), University Unit today paid rich tribute to freedom fighter Rajguru on his birth anniversary.
In this connection, a programme was organized at Jammu University wherein NSF activists paid tributes to Rajguru and garlanded the portrait of the son of soil.
Ankush Abrol, Provincial Joint Secretary, JKNC and former member BCCI was the chief guest on the occasion while Dr Vikas Sharma, Secretary Central Zone JKNC and former President JURSEA, presided over the event. Dr Sukhdev Singh State President NSF and former President JURSEA was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Ankush Abrol appreciated the initiative taken by the NSF members to celebrate the birth anniversary of Rajguru.
Dr Vikas Sharma said that we all should take oath not to sit silent and continue our endeavor to make India super power in all respects.
Dr Sukhdev Singh, in his speech, said that the sacrifices of such great people could not be ignored. Vikshay Vashist, State Secretary NSF also spoke on the occasion. Gourav Partap Singh, Jammu University Unit president delivered the welcome address while Abhishek Uppal delivered the vote of thanks. Among others who spoke, included Ishtyaq Ahmed, Saurav Thakur, Vaneet Gupta and Udav Sharma.
