JAMMU, Aug 17: Admonishing Pakistan to refrain from its interference in the internal affairs of India, J&K National Panthers Party activists today staged a protest demonstration at Exhibition Ground here today.
Spearheaded by chairman of the party and former minister Harshdev Singh, state president Balwant Singh Mankotia and president Young Panthers, Yash Paul Kundal, a large number of party activists assembled near Press Club here and started protest demonstration in the morning. They were raising slogans against the Pakistan for its support to secessionists and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir.
Accusing the rogue country for converting Kashmir into a vortex of violence, the protesters raised pro-India and anti-Pak slogans and torched the effigy of Pakistan.
While speaking Harshdev lambasted Pakistan for aiding and abetting militancy in J&K and elsewhere in the country. He condemned Pakistan for its terror training camps, its Hawala deals, drug trafficking, moral and material support to secessionism besides its propaganda in the print and electronic media against India. He lamented that Pak’s notoriety had assumed alarming and unacceptable proportions.
Mr Singh said that PM of Pakistan crossed all the limits when he recently announced to observe July 20 as ‘Black Day’ in protest against the ongoing Kashmir turbulence while addressing a cabinet meeting at Lahore’s Governor House. He further divulged that Pakistan’s terror manufacturing antecedents were known the world over and the recent venomous rants of Pak sponsored terror outfits against India had only unveiled Pakistan being a terror exporting state.
NPP leader exhorted the international community including the IMF, World Bank, etc to impose sanctions upon the rogue country and ostracize Pakistan completely in order to restore and sustain peace and tranquility in the region.
Prominent among those who led the protest included Rajesh Padgotra, Shankar Chib, Sham Gorkha, Gagan Partap, Nirmal Kishore, Rajesh Gondhi, Kailash Mohan, Ravinder Jamwal and others.
