Sir,
After a long wait and sufferings of 25 years the exiled Pandit Community is pinning its hope on the new Modi-Mufti dispensation for the everlasting solution of its problems especially the permanent settlement of the community.
At present the community is scattered all over India and its youth all over the world for their livelihood.
As a fact of matter due to the absence of real leadership social evils and outer problem, the Pandit community is on the cross roads and at the brink of extinction;
Despite all these odds, this time the community is hopeful to survive and get real justice.
With the active support, co-operation and blessing of the Central Govt the Chief Minister has a golden chance to prove its credibility, political maturity and farsightedness by sincerely initiating the re-settlement process of Kashmiri Pandits with honour and dignity to keep the Kashmiriyat alive. If this humanitarian task is successfully completed Mufti Sayeed will be remembered as modern Badshah of Kashmir in the history of J&K.
