JAMMU, June 9: Domana Police arrested a notorious vehicle snatcher.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Sukhvinder Kumar, son of Harbans Lal of Gumpul Domana that some unknown persons snatched his motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BN-4501 when he was on his way from Domana towards Jammu City.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 203/2022 under Section 382 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana
The said accused once again tried to snatch one more scooty at Paloura neat BSF and after unsuccessful attempt he managed to escape but due to the strenuous efforts of flying officials, they chased the fellow and caught him at Paloura.
The accused was identified as Rahul Bali alias Bobby, son of Bhola Nath Bali of District Baramullah, at present Poorkhu Camp District Jammu. The stolen motorcycle has been recovered by the police.
A fresh case under FIR Number 209/2022 under Sections 341, 382 and 511 IPC got registered against him at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Tilak Raj, SDPO Domana Sunil Singh and SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
