REASI, Feb 25: District Police Reasi booked and detained one more notorious drug peddler under PITNDPS and lodged him in District Jail Bhaderwah.
Shubam Singh, son of Kartar Singh, resident of Village Kanjli, Dera Baba Tehsil and District Reasi, A/P Didi Pangal, Tehsil Katra, was involved in several cases under NDPS Act at Police Station Katra and Police Station Reasi.
He was detained today under PITNDPS, vide order number 05 of 2025 dated 24-02-2025, issued by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
On the directions of SSP Reasi, Paramvir Singh, his dossiers for PITNDPS was prepared and after getting necessary detention order from Div Com Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, Shubam Singh was arrested by the team of Police Station Katra and lodged in District Jail Bhaderwah.
While sharing the details, SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh informed that during the last three months, 27 drug peddlers have been booked in 15 case FIRs registered under NDPS Act while three drug peddlers were booked under PITNDPS. Besides these, 28 peddlers were booked under preventive action in last three months, he added.
