UDHAMPUR, Feb 18: In continuation of its sustained efforts to eradicate drug trafficking from the district, Udhampur Police has y executed a detention order under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act against a notorious drug peddler.
The detention order against Amjad Hussain, alias Goli, son of Manzoor Hussain of Housing Colony, Udhampur was issued by the competent authority and executed by the Police team of PS Udhampur.
Amjad Hussain alias Goli is a habitual offender involved in narcotics-related activities in the district. His continued involvement in the illicit drug trade posed a serious threat to public health and safety particularly to the youth.
