UDHAMPUR, May 13: Police arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered 11.29 grams of heroin like contraband substance from his possession, here today.
Reports said that a patrolling team from Police Station Udhampur, led by SHO Raghuvir Singh, apprehended the accused suspecting his movements. Upon conducting a thorough frisking, the police team recovered 11.29 grams of heroin like contraband substance from possession of the apprehended person namely Sanjay Sharma alias Sanju Bawa, son of Narinder Kumar of Kaller, Udhampur.
Police arrested the accused and registered a case vide FIR No. 167/2025 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act in P/S Udhampur.
