JAMMU, Nov 26: Police arrested a criminal along with double barrel 12 bore gun and 11 live cartridges.
As per police sources, on specific information, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal laid a naka at Phinder and arrested a notorious criminal along with double barrel 12 bore gun and 11 live cartridges.
The arrested person has been identified as Ashok Dingra alias Tillu, son of Om Parkash, a resident of Phinder. With his arrest, police foiled murder plot.
Three cases including attempt to murder cases already stands registered against the criminal in Police Stations Miran Sahib and Bishnah.
A fresh case under FIR Number 162/17 under Section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
