Notorious criminal arrested, booked under PSA

JAMMU, Nov 30: Sarwal Police arrested a notorious criminal, who was evading his arrest since long and booked him under Public Safety Act (PSA).
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Sarwal led by PSI Satyajeet conducted raid and apprehended a notorious criminal, who was at large since long.
The arrested accused was identified as Rajesh Dogra alias Mohan Cheer, son of Ved Parkash of District Reasi, at present Talli Morh New Plot District Jammu.
Later, the accused was booked under stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) and lodged in jail.
It is pertinent to mention that accused is a notorious criminal and having habitual criminal activities not only in the Jammu district but also in other districts of J&K UT. He was also involved in various criminal cases such as murder, attempt to murder, possession of illegal weapons etc. by using dangerous weapons against the peaceful and law-abiding citizens.
Moreover, 7 criminal cases had been registered against him at Police Stations Pacca Danga, City, Udhampur, Gangyal, Bahu Fort and Gharota and he was also history sheeter of Bakshi Nagar Police Station and has been using his contacts to build a new network for organized crime in Jammu region along with his old associates.
Finally, the PSA has been executed by Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
