JAMMU, Dec 21: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, today extended warm greetings and best wishes to all serving personnel, veterans, families and civilian staff of the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps on the occasion of its 42nd Corps Day.
Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, a highly decorated officer with wide operational and command experience, has consistently stressed discipline, ethical conduct and strict adherence to the rule of law in the Indian Army.
Under his leadership, Northern Command continues to strengthen professionalism, legal awareness and civil–military coordination while operating in a sensitive and strategically important region.
To mark the occasion, a legal workshop was organised, bringing together representatives from the district judiciary, police and other law enforcement agencies.
Participants discussed important legal and procedural issues and explored ways to improve coordination and cooperation between the armed forces and civil administration.
The event concluded with a pledge to uphold justice, transparency and higher standards of legal and ethical practices while serving the nation.
