JAMMU, Jan 30: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, today chaired a joint security review meeting at Nagrota to assess the evolving security situation in the region.
Senior officers and key stakeholders from various security agencies participated in the meeting.
During the review, detailed discussions were held on maintaining close coordination in ongoing operations, improving joint preparedness and further strengthening the counter-terrorism grid.
The focus remained on ensuring seamless synergy among all agencies to effectively deal with emerging security challenges.
The meeting also discussed measures to maintain a high level of alertness and the effective use of available resources across the region.
The Army Commander stressed the importance of real-time intelligence sharing, sustained vigilance and coordinated action to ensure peace and stability.
The review meeting reaffirmed the collective resolve of the security forces to remain proactive and fully prepared to safeguard the region against all security threats.
