JAMMU, Jan 29: Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, today visited the Red Eagle Division to assess its operational preparedness and overall mission readiness.
During the visit, he was briefed in detail on the prevailing security scenario in the area of responsibility and the measures put in place by the formation to effectively respond to emerging challenges.
The briefing covered ongoing operational commitments, training programmes and steps being taken to maintain a high level of alertness and readiness at all times.
Interacting with officers and troops, the Army Commander emphasized the importance of adopting innovative training methods and making optimum use of modern technologies across various operational domains to stay ahead of adversaries.
He highlighted the need for continuous adaptation, better coordination and integration of technology in view of the evolving nature of modern warfare.
Lt Gen Sharma lauded the officers and soldiers for their professionalism, dedication and unwavering commitment to the nation, and expressed confidence in the Red Eagle Division’s ability to meet all operational challenges with determination.
The visit reaffirmed Northern Command’s focus on maintaining robust operational preparedness and high morale among troops deployed in sensitive areas.
